months passed and I applied for a waiter a popular restaurant in Enugu were earned a little income while I wait for my Nysc call up. I became the managers favourite due to my sincerity, punctuality and young age. I worked there for five months after graduation and got awarded the best attendant of the hotel which the mangaer offered me a promotion but due to my limited time in the hotel and my mapped out plan I couldn’t accept any promotion that will time down t one field.
I was waiting at the emene bus stand when I received a call inviting to Qatar for job opportunity and accommodation and I am to be there within the week because it was still Tuesday and middle of the month so going responding to the invite might be a fat problem. on getting to the hotel I saw a familiar face coming towards an ash colour lexus 33o parked near me and I could recognize the face as furake of kayode back at school.
we exchanged warm greeting and went back into the hotel where she was coming from and we started conversing about the past and current status it turned out she later married wale Emmanuel who was one of the dum pupil in our dept then, but now he owns an enterprise with forake in Enugu which they got on furakes appointment and that could have been my man(kayode) as the chat was getting more fun I decided to ask about ma big bro kayode, it turned out she has the address of his working place at sokoto but has never been there, we concluded and exchanged number and she left.
I was still worried about the call I got earlier about flying abroad and I decided I share it with the hotel manager and also tell him how I am short of money to execute the plan at the moment, and that I will abandon it for good. the manager gave me some words of encouragement and asked me how I got enrolled and I told him I enrolled when I was in my third year in the university of Ibadan and I think ma grades got me the job in uae. I paused in thought about Cynthia , if I should travel will there be any means of meeting her again?
Chris, Chris! the manager called out.
Yes sir, I said you should make enquires about the travel and tell me when you are done, I will be giving you days off till you recycle the possible expenditures and submit to me, I echoed with an Agreement salute and left the office for the assignment.
