Nigerian prostitute stabbed by Ghanaian counterpart for customer maneuver

According to a Nigerian trader who lives in Accra, Festus Okolie , the

lady whose name is Lovina, was rushed by other Nigerians in the area

to a hospital where she was stitched up and treated immediately .

This is how Okolie sent the story:

"It was a sad incident which almost erupted in a serious crisis

between Nigerians living there and the Ghanaians. It happened at the

Kwame Nkruma Circle, a popular and notorious red light district there

in Accra where prostitutes from different parts of West Africa

operate.

In fact, we call the place Ecowas because you have different nationals

» there. Ask anybody in Accra and they will tell you that Kwame Nkruma

Circle is the most notorious red light there.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 19, when Lovina was stabbed by

the Ghanaian "olosho".

We do not know her name but we gathered that they both operate in the

same brothel and on that day, a man who is said to be a regular

customer of the Ghana prostitute came visiting but she was inside with

another man.

The man who must have been sex-starved, could not wait and he went to

meet Lovina who took him to her room for sex.

But when the Ghana prostitute came out and was told that her customer

was inside with Lovina, she waited for her outside her door and when

she came out with the man, the Ghanaian prostitute attacked her and in

the process, broke a bottle and stabbed her in the head.

Some other Nigerian girls in the brothel rushed her to a hospital

before coming to inform our men but by the time we stormed the place,

she had been whisked away otherwise we would have thought her a

lesson.

We heard she was arrested by the police but was later released. Our

leaders have met with their leaders and the issue has been resolved."
