Times are pretty crazy. It was back in the early 60s when we first saw a person shot on television (lee Harvey Oswald), but now technology has taken things way further. This is Chicago man, Antonio Perkins, just seconds before he films his own murder.

There doesn't appear to be too much happening in Perkins' life when he's filming this on Facebook Live. He tells the camera that the water he's drinking is good; that's how exciting his day was. But it got a bit more lively very soon…

Various news reports suggest that Antonio Perkins was a known gang member, which may help to explain why this happened. However, while he might not have been the most peaceful dude in the world, there are also many reports suggesting that he was trying to get away from that life, and had recently begun an honest job.
The New York Times reported that police spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, said that Perkins was on their "strategic subjects list" in relation to gang crime, and had spent time in prison for manufacturing heroin.
