We are only halfway through 2016 and so far, this has turned out to a

great year for gamers. There have been some fantastic title launches

to play. Be it on PC or consoles, there have been games testing the

boundaries of graphics and overall gaming experience.

These games are spread across different genres and have something or

the other to offer for all kinds of players, be it FPS enthusiasts or

role-play fans.

Here are top 10 video games launched this year (so far), that you can

play this holiday season.

2. Mortal Kombat X

Launched on March 1, this has the complete compilation of all the

downloadable content that launched for Mortal Kombat X, along with a

new Kombat Pack 2. Mortal Kombat X has been called as the best in the

series yet, with refined graphics and out of the world fatalities.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the game is available on all

platforms including Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and

Xbox One.

3. Need for Speed

It is the latest installment in the immensely popular racing game

series by Electronic Arts. Need for Speed was released last year on

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and for Microsoft Windows (through Origin),

it was launched on March 15.

Need For Speed is an open world racing game and a complete reboot of

the series, following a small group of racers out to make a name for

themselves.

4. Dark Souls III

This game has been one of the most awaited releases this year, and it

sure lives up to the hype.

The fourth installment in the Dark Souls series by FromSoftware, Dark

Souls III follows the same style as its predecessor and prides itself

in the extremely tough action role playing based game play.

The game was internationally launched on April 12 and has since become

a critical and financial success.

5. Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End

Uncharted 4 is an action-adventure third person shooter by Naughty Dog

studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game follows

protagonist Nathan Drake and is one of the most awaited games of this

year. It is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title and thus, not available on

the other platforms.
