The death of Eunice Elisha Olawale, a 42-year-old
mother of seven, who was murdered by some
men while doing an early morning preaching round
of her neighbourhood in the Kubwa area of Abuja,
the Federal Capital Territory, has continued to draw
sympathy and condemnation by all and sundry.
The latest to visit the home of the bereaved family was the
wife of Nigeria's Vice President, Dolapo Osinbaj o, who wept
openly with the widower, Pastor Elisha Olawale, who is a
minister with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

While commiserating with the family, Mrs. Osinbajo assured
them the death of their wife and mother will never go in vain
as the police has vowed to fish out the killers » of the
woman and bring them to book.
The woman who was a Deaconess, was said to be preaching
in the early hours of Saturday, July 9, in the Bazango Pipeline
area of the satellite town in the FCT, when she was reportedly
waylaid and butchered by the hoodlums.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Alkali Usman, has however,
announced that six suspects have been arrested in connection
with the gruesome murder of the lady.
