Ado Adamu Bomboy To Leave PDP For APC

Alh (Dr) Ado Adamu Bomboy is set to leave the People Democratic Party (PDP)

for the ruling party of All Progressives Congress (APC), Leadership learnt.

When contacted, Ado Adamu, simple replied that politics is a game, you know

politics is all about give and take or what you stand to benefit.

It was gathered that Ado Adamu held a stakeholders meeting with some of his

coordinators and hundreds of his political supporters across the various wards

of his constituency of Gujba, Gulani, Tarmuwa and Damaturu, state capital,

where he informed them of his resolve to leave the PDP.

LEADERSHIP Weekend reported that, at the meeting, which was held at his

resident in Damaturu, Ado reportedly told the stakeholders that, he wants to

leave PDP because being in the minority, he faces isolation at the state level

Another source at the meeting said, Ado decision to leave PDP was informed by

other grievances he has against his party, especially at the state level.

There are indications that, some of his loyalis in Gujba LG where he hails from

have started defecting to the APC, following their just concluded the

stakeholders meeting, Ado defection will present another setback to the PDP in

the state and northeast region in general.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP Weekend on phone, Ado said that, he and his loyalist

decided to leave the PDP because injustice and betrayal of the party during the

last general election.

He said they carefully watched the unfolding political situation in Yobe and

Nigeria in general as whole and decided to join the APC party to salvage the

masses.
