Rapping up its brand activity in public primary schools across Lagos State,
Tecno Mobile gave scholarship to three outstanding primary pupils.

initiative of Tecno in primary schools which kicked off on May 18, 2016, the
brand's representative, Richard Ugochukwu said the mobile brand remains
committed to fostering quality child education in its operating communities
as it believes education plays a vital role in community development and
nation building.
According to him, "We believe that giving the next generation qualitative
education is critical to the prosperity of any nation and for a nation like
Nigeria to effectively join the next phase of global industrial race,
the Nigerian
child must be well educated.
Supporting education is an annual endeavor for Tecno and we will continue to
do our very best to provide scholarships for outstanding pupils in public
primary schools to further their education,"
He said that Seven Lagos-based primary schools benefited from the two-
week long activity in which Tecno gave gift items to pupils of beneficiary
schools including donations of stationery to the schools' libraries.
The principal administrators of the schools were in hand to receive donations
made to their school's libraries. Some of the beneficiary primary schools for
Tecno's second quarter 2016 CSR activity includes: Abesan primary school
Ipaja, Community primary school Ipaja, State primary school Ipaja, Estate

selected schools in which high flying pupils were drawn for the grand finale
held today. The three best pupils at the competition will secure the
scholarships.
"The best pupils to emerge in Friday's Children's day contest will each go
home with a cash prize of a hundred thousand naira. We intend that these
donations will help them with catering for most of their school financial
requirements", said the Tecno marketing lead.
Tecno Children's Day 2016 scholarship marks the brand's third consecutive
scholarship scheme for primary school pupils in three years. Tecno is a
leading producer of in-demand, high-end mobile phones. Founded in 2006, the
