Di’ja7 Kick back styles inspired by the singer

Wondering how to strut your style in loungewear? Here are some looks you can copy from the Mavin Records singer.

If there’s one thing we all know Di’ja for it’s her conservative dressing.

The Mavin Record act pulls off her covered up look in a chic way that is absolutely fabulous.

As an artiste, Di’ja has successfully found a way to rock lounge wear, co-ords, maxi dresses, jumpsuits and comfy clothing in a fashionable manner to events and even during her live performances.
Get in your comfort zone with style inspired by the ‘Awww’ singer.

D’ja comes from a multi ethnic family. Her father is half Sierra Leonean and half Lebanese, while her mum is from Zaria in Kaduna.

In this gold dress complemented by arm cuffs and her hair in bantu knots, she channels an Egyptian themed style.

Dressed in a black turtle neck long sleeve knee length dress and leggings, the singer complements her look at a Kaduna festival in 2015 with a pink kimono by Abuja based designer Hudayya.

4. Pinstripes

Pinstripes are more common for men than women but Di’j a and her versatile fashion style show women can rock this too.

The ‘Take kiss’ crooner is not afraid of colours. Di’ja looks super comfortable in this red ensemble with red Converse to match and a gold choker. Spicy!

6. 'Awww'

While most people get all glammed up for their music videos, Di’ja chose a more laid back look in a cream baggy sweatshirt and loose print pants which cuff at the ankle in her 'Awww' music video.

7. Regal

If there’s one thing every African woman must have in their wardrobe, it’s a kaftan. These dresses are not just made for indoors, you can also wear the to dinner or a night out like Di’ja did. She credits this look to Tiannah's Styling and Juon Gerald Styling.
