Glo offers customers ‘data overload’

Globacom has unveiled a new data regime that has seen the value of its

data plans increased by 100 per cent across board. The new data regime

is tagged "Data Overload" and is designed to give Nigerian subscribers

access to the Internet like never before, according to the firm.

Breaking down the offer in Lagos, Globacom explained that the N1, 000

plans, which used to give the subscriber 1.5GB of data, now gives 2GB,

while the N2, 000 plans which hitherto came with 3GB of data now has

6GB data. Subscribers will also receive 10GB of data when they

subscribe to the N2, 500 plans instead of 5GB they used to receive

before.

As if these were not enough, the new system of data plans delivers a

whopping 12GB for just N3, 000 instead of 6GB data, which the plan

used to offer. And for the N4, 000 data plan, the subscriber will now

get 18GB instead of the old 9GB, while the N5,000 subscription will

give the customer 24GB.

But then, the offers listed above cannot be compared to the N8, 000

subscriptions. This jumbo data plan gives a record-breaking 48GB

instead of the old 24GB.

The new Data Overload is currently the most attractive as it offers

the biggest data bundles for any price in the market."As the data

game-changer in the industry, we have decided to give our esteemed

subscribers the most affordable data value on our super fast network

powered by the Glo 1 submarine cable. We also wish to enrich their

communication experience through unbelievable data volumes at

best-in-class prices," Globacom stated.

According to Globacom, the new Data Overload is designed to encourage

subscribers to upgrade from lower plans and to bigger plans. Customers

can buy the data plans by dialling *777#, adding that they can also

share and gift any part of the plan to their loved ones.

The company said it would continue to come out with innovative,

pocket-friendly products and services for the benefit of its teeming

subscribers.
